During the Consultation
Attorney Laura Fernandez will ask questions about your current situation, your immigration history, any criminal history, and a number of other personal issues. It is important to understand that consulting with an attorney does not necessarily establish an attorney-client relationship. However, all our discussions are completely confidential. If you decide to hire us, we will discuss fees and make an agreement.

There are many topics that will be far too involved to cover in an initial consultation. However, I am happy to arrange second and subsequent consultations if necessary. If you decide to hire me to work on your case, any consultation fees will be deducted from the flat fee we agree upon, or put toward hourly work.

Fees
The first consultation is free. After that, we charge $75 for consultations lasting up to one hour. We can conduct consultations in person at our office in Milwaukee, by e-mail, or by telephone. During the consultation, we ask that you find a quiet place to speak with us. For e-mail consultations, we ask that you provide as much information as possible in the initial e-mail. However, the fee also covers several follow-up questions and answers.

Scheduling
I will be on vacation from May 9th through the 13th. There will be no consultations during those days, and if you call between May 2nd and 9th we will likely have to arrange your consultation for the week of May 14th. Thank you for your understanding.

To schedule a consultation, please call (414) 643-5676 or send an e-mail. We will respond as quickly as possible to your request for a consultation.

PLEASE NOTE: Recently we have been having some problems receiving mail from contacts with Yahoo! email accounts. If you have can use something other than a Yahoo-based e-mail to contact us, please do so. Otherwise, if you use Yahoo, and we do not respond in 3 days, please call 414-643-5676. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Please note that everything posted on this website is legal information, not legal advice. The information provided here is very general. Every case is different. Please consult with us or another qualified immigration attorney before making any decisions about your situation.
